NOTE: An entrance pass is also required to visit Yosemite National Park. The Glacier Point pass provides access to visit Glacier Point during the designated timeslot after you enter the park.

Know Before You Go

Facilities at Fort Vancouver NHS, including the reconstructed fort, Pearson Air Museum, and the Visitor Center, will be open Tuesdays through Saturdays, 9 am to 4 pm (November to mid-March during Standard Time), 9 am to 5 pm (mid-March to November during Daylight Savings Time), and closed Sundays and Mondays.

The park's McLoughlin House Unit in Oregon City, Oregon, is open Fridays and Saturdays from 10 am to 4 pm. The house is closed seasonally from mid-December through mid-February. Please call (503) 656-5151 for more information.

Park grounds will remain open seven days a week from dawn until dusk.

Annual Closures
Each year, Fort Vancouver NHS and its managed facilities are open to the public except for the following days:
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • December 24, 25, 31
  • January 1

Entrance fees are waived at National Park Service-managed sites on the following days in 2019:
  • January 21 – Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
  • April 20 – First Day of National Park Week/National Junior Ranger Day
  • August 25 – National Park Service Anniversary
  • September 28 – National Public Lands Day
  • November 11 – Veterans Day
