Know Before You Go

All park visitors are required to pay an entrance fee upon entry. Please print your pass and be prepared to show your hard copy pass at park entrance stations.

Olympic National Park is busiest on weekends, holidays, and during the summer months. Purchasing this pass does not expedite entry in to the park. Expect delays and extended wait times to enter the park when parking lots are full, especially at Hurricane Ridge and Hoh Rain Forest. For a more relaxed visit, plan on visiting early or late in the day or on a week day. Information about your visit can be found at the Olympic National Park website, Facebook, and Twitter.

Entrance fees are waived at National Park Service-managed sites on the following days in 2019:
  • January 21 – Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
  • April 20 – First Day of National Park Week/National Junior Ranger Day
  • August 25 – National Park Service Anniversary
  • September 28 – National Public Lands Day
  • November 11 – Veterans Day
