NOTE: An entrance pass is also required to visit Yosemite National Park. The Glacier Point pass provides access to visit Glacier Point during the designated timeslot after you enter the park.

Know Before You Go

All park visitors are required to pay an entrance fee upon entry.

The pass can be printed or downloaded to a mobile device. Connectivity is limited around and within the park, so please make sure the pass is properly loaded onto your mobile device before coming to the park. The pass must be available to show at all times when entering, exiting, or recreating in Yosemite National Park.

Conditions in Yosemite can change quickly. Temporary road closures and delays are always possible. Check the park’s website for current conditions: https://www.nps.gov/yose/planyourvisit/conditions.htm. You are required to carry tire chains in your vehicle from November 1st to April 1st.

Entrance fees are waived at National Park Service-managed sites on the following days in 2019:
  • January 21 – Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
  • April 20 – First Day of National Park Week/National Junior Ranger Day
  • August 25 – National Park Service Anniversary
  • September 28 – National Public Lands Day
  • November 11 – Veterans Day
