Mayo Beach Park
Reservation Passes available on Thursday of each week.
Mayo Beach Park is located at the mouth of the South River in Edgewater, Maryland.
NO ALCOHOL is allowed in the park.
Fishing is not permitted.
Reservation passes are needed on the following dates
May: 23rd, 24th, 25th
June: 6th,7th, 13th, 14th, 19th, 20th, 21st, 27th, 28th
July: 3rd, 4th, 5th, 11th, 12th, 18th, 19th, 25th, 26st
August: 1st, 2nd, 8th, 9th, 15th, 16th, 22nd, 23rd, 29th, 30th
September: 5th, 6th, 7th
Groups/parties of 20 or more must have a special event request approved by the superintendent.
Reservation passes will become available the Thursday before the weekend of your intended visit. For example, Memorial Day Weekend passes become available May 21st.
Pass Selection
NOTE: One daily pass is available per vehicle holding a maximum of 10 people. Once the pass is used it will be void.

Know Before You Go
- Restrooms with running water and toilets are available. There is also drinking water available. Bring your own bottle.
- Grills are not permitted on-site and there are none available at the park. Please pack food that is already prepared.
- Dogs are not allowed on the beach.
- Mayo Beach is a trash-free park. Any trash packed in must be packed out. Trash cans are not available.
- No amplified music.
- Three-sided shade shelters are welcome.
